timeout vs read_timeout

I'm using phpredis in my Laravel project. My knowledge of redis in general is limited.

What is the difference between timeout and read_timeout? What would be a use case of setting them to different settings?

timeout is the connection timeout. We probably should rename it or add note to documentation
