Monday morning MAINTAINERS weekly Review & Planning meeting

1. Review Community Project : https://github.com/orgs/openebs/projects/54

   • Updates, actions , deliverables and achievements
   • How are we doing on INCUBATION Analysis ?

2. Major slippages :

   • Does anyone know of any conflicts that will generate major scheudle slippage.

3. Need final decision :

   • RawFile project status : Will it remain in the new project as a :Core Data-Engine
   • RawFile is currently in the new project repo structure. We need to add the owner in Maintainers or give it back its own Maintainers file. If we do that latter we need to vote and agree on an exception to our new governance rules.
   • RawFile location. If we chose for the project to no be included, it needs to move to. The assumption is that we do not have a valid claim on ownership and that Mehran may. This issue needs t be discussed and definitively answered. We cannot forcefully move it out to the Archive repo until this issue is resolved. Therefore, maintainers status needs to be addressed in parallel.

4. General Discussions

   • Mule Logo : I have not spoken to Jorge Castro yet.
     • Ideas : https://github.com/openebs/community/tree/develop/images/project_logo
   • Need a strategy for NFS and a Standard consistent response for RWM / NFS.
   • Adopters File
     • we need to tidy-up the existing file. May be a heavy lift to contact every legacy customer
     • We need to reach out to a new community of modem users. May be a total Team effort for everyone in openEBS team. Not just Maintainers.

   • Naming

6. Issues & Concerns

   • Product Metrics (GA3, GA4, Swarm Bucket) - Ed & Dave project is having issue
