We had a really good sprint result and the GeoTools 30-SNAPSHOT jars are now ready for your evaluation.

Please see update instructions here: https://docs.geotools.org/latest/userguide/welcome/upgrade.html

There is a massive ant script we put together to refactor source code; you may need to adapt this for your use : )

The GeoTools 30-RC is now available from maven.

The announcement provides an overview. We are very much interested in your feedback on the upgrade instructions and refactoring script in our user guide.

Thanks

Hello,

sorry for the missing response - i just recently received responsibility for this repository and apparently was not subscribed to any notifications...

We are currently busy with other projects and new releases/updates of this repository have been postponed for now due to lack of funding and shifting business requirements. I can take look into the migration, but resources are very limited for now as the repository is practically in "bugfix-only" mode.

Totally understandable; we just wish to see projects that use GeoTools taken care of during this unusual API break. If it helps osgeo does have some budget available to assist with the transition, and you are welcome to drop into our bi-weekly meetings for assistance.
